In the 3rd minute, Karavela's Sílvio Luís Barral seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sílvio Luís Barral the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Karavela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sílvio Luís Barral had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Olov Groth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Denílson Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denílson Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Björklund in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, FC Snipers's Sven-Edvin Björklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denílson Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Denílson Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Björklund in the 19th minute of play. Denílson Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Groth in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Arman Bremming made a precise shot to the right of Denílson Catarinense. Karavela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arman Bremming in the 24th minute of play forced Karavela's goalkeeper Denílson Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes of play, FC Snipers's Olov Groth made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denílson Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olov Groth's late challenge caught a Karavela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olov Groth helped the player get up and apologised. Olov Groth hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, Sven-Edvin Björklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Denílson Catarinense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Björklund in the 38th minute of play forced Karavela's goalkeeper Denílson Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arman Bremming in the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arman Bremming in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denílson Catarinense saved Karavela from getting behind. Bruno Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Denílson Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Bremming, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Emanuel Brandin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Saldanha in the 47th minute. After the first half FC Snipers were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Mattos made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, FC Snipers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Giöck to maneuver through the defense. Karavela's Denílson Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Karavela from getting a goal against them. Bruno Lopes hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Denílson Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Sven-Edvin Björklund sent off a good shot on target. Dino Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Brandin having to interfere. Denílson Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Tim Hård sent off a good shot on target. Denílson Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Bremming in the 66th minute of play. Karavela's Denílson Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Sörman in the 67th minute of play. Denílson Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Hård in the 69th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Denílson Catarinense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Johannes Biörnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Biörnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Karavela booed when FC Snipers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Biörnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Sven-Edvin Björklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Snipers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Edvin Björklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, FC Snipers's Arman Bremming dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 88th minute Tim Hård shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olov Groth got free with Denílson Catarinense in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute, FC Snipers's Arman Bremming ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Denílson Catarinense. Denílson Catarinense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. The Karavela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Snipers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
