In the 8th minute, Adriano Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodriguinho Prata acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aurelian Ţăranu. Paulo Renato Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 played minutes TERROR DA MOOCA -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Breno Barreto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Melinte in the 20th minute of play forced TERROR DA MOOCA -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Rodriguinho Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Delphine Stars's Gică Melinte made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodriguinho Prata was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dieguinho Luz took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petruț Ţopescu. Petruț Ţopescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rodriguinho Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Vărzaru in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, TERROR DA MOOCA -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Denis Prezan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriano Azevedo's late challenge caught a Delphine Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriano Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. 44 minutes into the match, TERROR DA MOOCA -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Damian Cudalb came free, but Rodriguinho Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of TERROR DA MOOCA -DMZ- booed when Delphine Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Ţăranu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costică Vărzaru made a kick off. Cristian Baștină lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for TERROR DA MOOCA -DMZ-. Charles Leal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Petruț Ţopescu. 1-2. After 58 minutes of play, TERROR DA MOOCA -DMZ-'s Paulo Renato Nóbrega made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petruț Ţopescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petruț Ţopescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguinho Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 66 played minutes Delphine Stars got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Crușeveanu. In the 71st minute Gică Melinte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Delphine Stars's zone, Dieguinho Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Ţopescu came out of the goal and Dieguinho Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Renato Nóbrega in the 89th minute of play forced Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Petruț Ţopescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Petruț Ţopescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TERROR DA MOOCA -DMZ-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
