After having played for 7 minutes, Ildefonso Perfecto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Perfecto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John Paul Metcalfe made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Teobald Wlodyga sent off a good shot on target. John Paul Metcalfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobald Wlodyga in the 13th minute of the match. Emanuele Volpe charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuele Volpe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio's Emanuele Volpe got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Eglington in the 15th minute of play forced Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio's goalkeeper Amos Colagrossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Emanuele Volpe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Teobald Wlodyga hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Perfecto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of John Paul Metcalfe, 2-0. In the 34th play minute Ildefonso Perfecto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised John Paul Metcalfe. 3-0. Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio's Teobald Wlodyga got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Teobald Wlodyga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving John Paul Metcalfe. That made the score 4-0 in the 38 minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Nicolau Madruga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. John Paul Metcalfe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Emanuele Volpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teobald Wlodyga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Paul Metcalfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ildefonso Perfecto took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Paul Metcalfe. John Paul Metcalfe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Gone With the Win's John Paul Metcalfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Perfecto in the 65th minute of play. When Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio's Ildefonso Perfecto in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gone With the Win's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Ildefonso Perfecto put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of John Paul Metcalfe. Kyle Eglingtons short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Amos Colagrossi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nicolau Madruga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. John Paul Metcalfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ed Ingram during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Ed Ingram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Paul Metcalfe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Perfecto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes of play, Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio's Ildefonso Perfecto made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John Paul Metcalfe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 95 minutes, Jez Mabbutt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gone With the Win and the Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sole e Mezzaluna Calcio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
