With a little luck, Under 18 Universe's Kurtuluş Ünlü got control of the ball when Jez Mabbutt tried to sneak it across the goal line. John Paul Metcalfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bora Han Ankaralı, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Under 18 Universe's Metehan Kurboga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Paul Metcalfe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Kamer Başkaynak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Under 18 Universe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Seb Osbourne kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cahit Atik in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Paul Metcalfe saved Gone With the Win from getting behind. In the 24thth minute of the game Cahit Atik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gone With the Win's John Paul Metcalfe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamer Başkaynak in the 26th minute of play forced Gone With the Win's goalkeeper John Paul Metcalfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Kyle Eglington managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gone With the Win's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Eglington was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. John Paul Metcalfe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamer Başkaynak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Under 18 Universe booed when Gone With the Win was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gez Wendon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bora Han Ankaralı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Paul Metcalfe having to interfere. John Paul Metcalfe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cahit Atik went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Bora Han Ankaralı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Under 18 Universe were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cahit Atik was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, İlkan Bektaş notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Gone With the Win's John Paul Metcalfe. John Paul Metcalfe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute of the match Gone With the Win got a corner. Under 18 Universe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tommy Merris ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyle Eglington in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kurtuluş Ünlü saved Under 18 Universe from getting behind. Gone With the Win's John Paul Metcalfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bora Han Ankaralı in the 70th minute of play. Kurtuluş Ünlü showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Eglington in the 72nd minute of the match. Kurtuluş Ünlü took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Eglington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Paul Metcalfe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kamer Başkaynak went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score.
