ORIZABA F.C.'s Cesar Lop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save ORIZABA F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 11 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Luca Păun. 13 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Dante Nastasio came free, but Walter Zenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Nastasio scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Zenga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 19 played minutes Scorpions -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Costel Ţintă. Walter Zenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Nastasio in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Gabon in the 28th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Gabon in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Clemente Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Zenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes Scorpions -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Etor who took care of the corner kick. After the first half ORIZABA F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Scorpions -MM- made a substitution. Alexandru Zăvoiu replaced Mihai Stoleru. In the 53rd minute, Scorpions -MM-'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dante Nastasio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Gabon in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Zenga saved Scorpions -MM- from getting behind. Hugo Gines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Walter Zenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Aron Câmpeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walter Zenga was a little too slow when Clemente Gabon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-4. 60 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Cristos. Walter Zenga made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Carolo Cristos sent off a good shot on target. Costel Ţintă didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Cristos. 87 minutes into the match, Traian Uzuneanu notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of ORIZABA F.C.'s Cesar Lop. Cesar Lop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Traian Uzuneanu struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Cesar Lop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scorpions -MM-. With a little luck, Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga got control of the ball when Dante Nastasio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vito Corleone charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vito Corleone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vito Corleone kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. ORIZABA F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
