Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Åke Månsson kicked off to start the match. After 9 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by André Neubauer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Månsson in the 10th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Tim Wiese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SV Bad Harzburg fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when SV Bad Harzburg's Marc Richter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Digital Monsterz FC defense, Lars Schira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertil Henriksson. The Digital Monsterz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertil Henriksson should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Digital Monsterz FC booed when SV Bad Harzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Schulten didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Paul Kielstedt from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Tim Wiese's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 26th match minute, Digital Monsterz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Månsson to maneuver through the defense. Digital Monsterz FC's Bertil Henriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Schulten in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Oskar Pååk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wiese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Richter struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bertil Henriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Bad Harzburg. In the 42nd match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Schira to maneuver through the defense. Mathias Schulten hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Paul Kielstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Digital Monsterz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Kielstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Wiese breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marc Richter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bertil Henriksson came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by SV Bad Harzburg's Lars Schira. But to his dismay, Lars Schira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When Lars Schira came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the SV Bad Harzburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Schira couldn't finish the play. Mathias Schulten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Henriksson having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Lars Schira notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Digital Monsterz FC's Bertil Henriksson. Bertil Henriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Lars Schira hit a great ball. SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Månsson in the 88th minute of play. Bertil Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Richter in the 90th minute of play. SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Digital Monsterz FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marc Richter took the corner. Welf Heinlein hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Tim Wiese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Kielstedt in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SV Bad Harzburg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
