Artemio Edwardo came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Rodrigo Calvet. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Calvet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Diego Melendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Etxepare in the 36th minute of the match. Artemio Edwardo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Anibal Xabier sent off a good shot on target. Diego Melendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Pacorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Coupon Busters II AR were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Coupon Busters II AR booed when Santos de Buenos Aires FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primo Isidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Milian lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Coupon Busters II AR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! 78 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Calvet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artemio Edwardo. Coupon Busters II AR's Artemio Edwardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Calvet in the 91st minute of play.
