An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Louis in the 29th minute of play forced The Shadows's goalkeeper Östen Röd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When The Shadows's Freddie Almkvist in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, The Shadows's Elliott Klemensson got a free kick in the 81st minute. A hard shot by Anastasio Erauso from long distance, 81 minutes into the match, got Östen Röd's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Freddie Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Bartoleme having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisito Caradaro got free with Östen Röd in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delmar Bartoleme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Almkvist in the 94th minute of play. The Shadows's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
