Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evrosi Popsavov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 28 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Gediminas Donskis came free, but Dalmacio Caldueño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Club Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Tabares to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gediminas Donskis was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Club Olimpia's protests and gave Alan Cano a yellow card for diving instead. Alan Cano hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dani Carvajal got free with Dalmacio Caldueño in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Dalmacio Caldueño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gediminas Donskis. Dalmacio Caldueño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gediminas Donskis in the 93rd minute. Manchester United F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support.
