Raphael Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Franco in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Jose Quinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guido Ostadar kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ulises Sidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Mendonça in the 23rd minute of play. Raphael Furlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicasio Franco in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Corderun came free, but Raphael Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Franco got free with Raphael Furlan in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Nicasio Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Donato Mazza hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Nicasio Franco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raphael Furlan, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Jose Quinton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raphael Furlan. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Délio Gerber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicasio Franco struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Raphael Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club A. Chipa y Tereré. With a little luck, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Ulises Sidro got control of the ball when Délio Gerber tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Nicasio Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club A. Chipa y Tereré made a substitution. Sergio Estavan replaced Benjamin Orlandus. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Olari Mõniste was substituted for Rolando Corderun. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Raphael Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Franco in the 85th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicasio Franco in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raphael Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olari Mõniste kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute Olari Mõniste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Blumenau Esporte Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club A. Chipa y Tereré.
