The audience thought a goal was coming when Luizão Peixoto got free with 吕亮桑 in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 吕亮桑 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antony Donnelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 26th minute Antony Donnelly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 吕亮桑 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已 got a freekick which was hit by 陶朗坤. Luizão Peixoto's late challenge caught a 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizão Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Karaboudjan getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. After 44 played minutes 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已 got a freekick which was hit by 袁永益. 48 minutes into the match, 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已's goalkeeper 吕亮桑 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remo Motta. With a little luck, 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已's 吕亮桑 got control of the ball when Remo Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 袁永益 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luizão Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 吕亮桑 having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Peixoto came free, but 吕亮桑 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 高建邦 charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 高建邦 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 吕亮桑 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antony Donnelly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已 defense, Antony Donnelly kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 吕亮桑. The 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 吕亮桑 should have stopped the shot.
