The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Villon got free with Krama Bollen in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the game, Zeledon Cevallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona de América's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xandeco FC the free kick. In the 24th minute, Zeledon Cevallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubén Louzara's late challenge caught a Xandeco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rubén Louzara helped the player get up and apologised. Elias Villon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Luiz Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sandro Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Barcelona de América's Sandro Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Balkiewicz in the 41st minute of play. Sandro Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Torres in the 42nd minute of the match. Elias Villon struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Krama Bollen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelona de América.

The wind increased when Edmund Balkiewicz made the kick off in the second half. Felix Llantada charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Llantada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barcelona de América's Sandro Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Barcelona de América from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Balkiewicz in the 65th minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Sandro Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Sandro Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Torres. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmund Balkiewicz in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sandro Santos saved Barcelona de América from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Balkiewicz came free, but Sandro Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Xandeco FC's Luiz Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandro Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of Xandeco FC booed when Barcelona de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palacios Rabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Amaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Xandeco FC's Tales Donato got a free kick in the 91st minute. Xandeco FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
