Cyprian Brytka charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cyprian Brytka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ✩ Pep Team ✩ booed when INTER Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Brytka didn't get a good kick on the ball. INTER Sosnowiec's Eugeniusz Sochacki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save INTER Sosnowiec from getting a goal against them. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Veljko Cvetanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Luty in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes in the game, Marko Nestoroski fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eugeniusz Sochacki having to interfere. Menduh Saliu took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugeniusz Sochacki. Eugeniusz Sochacki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 25th minute, INTER Sosnowiec's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Menduh Saliu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eugeniusz Sochacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariton Krstevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lech Luty to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, INTER Sosnowiec's Radomir Haskiewicz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Eugeniusz Sochacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menduh Saliu in the 72nd minute of play. Eugeniusz Sochacki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zamir Imeri in the 74th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
