The crowd rose to their feet as Adan Urtsua kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Percival Tavares. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Douglas Neiva hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 庄迪翔 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fiori Munhoz went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Wojciech Drebit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Percival Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 庄迪翔 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Charles Santos took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 庄迪翔. 庄迪翔 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kaká Magalhães during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 48 minutes into the match, Inter de São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Urtsua came free, but Percival Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hamílton de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Percival Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Wojciech Drebit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 74th minute Wojciech Drebit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SANTOS F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kaká Magalhães in the 76th minute. The corner led SANTOS F.C's Kaká Magalhães to fire away a dangerous shot which Percival Tavares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Drebit in the 77th minute of play forced Inter de São Paulo's goalkeeper Percival Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When SANTOS F.C's Adan Urtsua in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter de São Paulo's goalie prevented a goal. SANTOS F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
