After having played for 7 minutes, Joélson Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joélson Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute Kamber Özakıncı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gianluigi Donnarumma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsmen Yiğithan in the 14th minute of the match. Gianluigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamber Özakıncı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Carno FK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fehmi Akçiçek hit a great ball. A collision led to S.E.R. Caxias do Sul getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz hit a great ball. Sebati Ergün came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 27th minute, Kamber Özakıncı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gianluigi Donnarumma was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hüsmen Yiğithan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Donnarumma having to interfere. Hüsrev Pekdeger hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Kamber Özakıncı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gianluigi Donnarumma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamber Özakıncı in the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Carno FK's goalkeeper Sebati Ergün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Sanches. 47 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsmen Yiğithan came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamber Özakıncı in the 48th minute of play forced S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hüsmen Yiğithan made a kick off. Sebati Ergün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Sá in the 52nd minute of play. Hüsrev Pekdeger was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 53rd match minute, Carno FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüsrev Pekdeger to maneuver through the defense. Gianluigi Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azmi Türeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Leopoldo Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leopoldo Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebati Ergün having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Hüsmen Yiğithan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gianluigi Donnarumma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Carno FK defense, Leopoldo Sanches kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebati Ergün. The Carno FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebati Ergün should have stopped the shot. Hüsmen Yiğithan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Carno FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
