Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jailson de Amaral kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Mesquita. Décio Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Cícero Veiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santo Everton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- reached it. Jailson de Amaral came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valdemar Quadros could save by the left post. When Zuera Never End MZC's Rui Coutinho in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zuera Never End MZC's Santo Everton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fernando Botelho in the 25th minute of play. Joaquim de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Santo Everton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Botelho in the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 56 played minutes Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Mesquita. The supporters of Zuera Never End MZC booed when Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdemar Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Luiz Fernando Botelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santo Everton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Betinho Dantas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jailson de Amaral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdemar Quadros was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
