João Augusto Veiga was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ardahan Serter made a kick off. When Ademir Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.A.100Qualidade's protests and gave Ademir Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes A.A.100Qualidade got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Bertassi.
