The supporters of Eagle Stars FC booed when LTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Bernad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teo Martxelin charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Di Nan Yan made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Matías Giménez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LTA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matías Giménez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Leopoldo Tiadoro put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Zbyszek Zabrzeski. In the 55th minute, Eagle Stars FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Martin Palermo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. LTA FC's Arsenio Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Di Nan Yan in the 61st minute of play. Eagle Stars FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after LTA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jakub Pstrongowski took the corner. Zbyszek Zabrzeski was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Martin Palermo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Palermo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 86 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Tiadoro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zbyszek Zabrzeski. Leopoldo Tiadoro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5.
