Olov Wennerström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Miranda having to interfere. Almir Miranda came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Åsbro Flåsegutter's Kåre Majman. But to his dismay, Kåre Majman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 44 minutes into the match, Mitnarotov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agne Carlsson came free, but Almir Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almir Miranda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Isaksson went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Isaksson to make the kick off. The supporters of Mitnarotov FC booed when Åsbro Flåsegutter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andréas Vennersten didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Andréas Vennersten got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Walmir Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
