The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Lauaxeta in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Verdu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kevin Verdu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Lauaxeta in the 11th minute of play. When Vicente Elija fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FrenaHayBache's protests and gave Vicente Elija a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FrenaHayBache booed when El Pasteral F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristofer Infante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Gai struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Kevin Verdu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FrenaHayBache. Joel Lauaxeta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. El Pasteral F.C's Kevin Verdu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Gai in the 28th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Joel Lauaxeta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Verdu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After some careless play in the El Pasteral F.C defense, Fidel Gai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevin Verdu. The El Pasteral F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Verdu should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When FrenaHayBache's Joel Lauaxeta in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Gai couldn't finish the play. Fidel Gai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Lauaxeta during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. El Pasteral F.C's Kevin Verdu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save El Pasteral F.C from getting a goal against them. FrenaHayBache's Hugo Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The El Pasteral F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FrenaHayBache were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
