Filip Paulescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Augustin Nechifor managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Augustin Nechifor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélio Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costin Iorgu had several of the Febre Amarela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Hélio Sarmento as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Augustin Nechifor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélio Sarmento made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Filip Paulescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Filip Paulescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hélio Sarmento. The goal made the score 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Iorgu in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélio Sarmento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Febre Amarela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filip Paulescu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Steaua Pildesti's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Steaua Pildesti's Filip Paulescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Hélio Sarmento despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Costin Iorgu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Steaua Pildesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Febre Amarela the free kick. Costin Iorgu kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Hélio Sarmento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costin Iorgu's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Filip Paulescu made a precise shot to the right of Hélio Sarmento. Febre Amarela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 58 minutes into the game, Costin Iorgu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Hélio Sarmento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Augustin Nechifor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélio Sarmento was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Vito Leme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Isac Cozmâncă made a huge save. Dinu Gherguț hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Cristian Fința got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Moise Irod hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 74 minutes, Vito Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Febre Amarela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Augustin Nechifor managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Augustin Nechifor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Febre Amarela booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Nechifor didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Steaua Pildesti's Isac Cozmâncă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Lago in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Steaua Pildesti's Isac Cozmâncă got control of the ball when Vito Leme tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
