When Cacá Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Abutres 2003 FDP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cacá Prestes couldn't finish the play. After 19 minutes of play, Abutres 2003 FDP's Cristóvão de Salles made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Oliverios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caio da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jun Misugi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Geovani do Nascimento hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Vampiros Aztecas got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Nesor. Caio da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Schneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Caio da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Petri in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Paulo Meirelles to make the kick off. Emiliano Oliverios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Vidal in the 51st minute of play. Valentin Nesor kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Emiliano Oliverios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa got control of the ball when Karl Schneider tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jun Misugi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio da Costa having to interfere.
