Spectators: 7579 (Terracing: 5685, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Luna started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Quilmes got a freekick which was hit by Elias Clis. After 8 played minutes Quilmes got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Iraitz. Ernesto Osasun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Luna in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Quilmes's Elias Clis got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Carlos Luna dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernesto Osasun, 2-0. 25 minutes into the game, Camilo Matteo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gremio Viana's Alexandre Onofre quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ernesto Osasun was a little too slow when Carlos Luna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 4-0. Angelino Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ernesto Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victoriano Mirande to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Luna in the 52nd minute of the match. Donato Nuxila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quilmes's Ernesto Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Luna in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Quilmes's Elias Clis got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ernesto Osasun came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Gremio Viana's Carlos Luna. But to his dismay, Carlos Luna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Candido Gasteiz charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Candido Gasteiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Quilmes getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Candido Gasteiz hit a great ball. If Alexandre Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Luna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ernesto Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Luna came free, but Ernesto Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ernesto Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Luna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gremio Viana walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
