Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) After a rather tough play, Guará FC's Tiago Gabriel Vieira got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Silverio Cordara came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Guará FC's Tiago Gabriel Vieira. But to his dismay, Tiago Gabriel Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When C.A.Esparta's Pascual Hats in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guará FC's goalie prevented a goal. Elói Bezerra charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elói Bezerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Guará FC got a freekick which was hit by Elói Bezerra. In the 29th minute Gilberto Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Guará FC's Tiago Gabriel Vieira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silverio Cordara. That made the score 3-0 after 30 minutes of play. 33 minutes into the game, Tiago Gabriel Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Silverio Cordara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, C.A.Esparta's Agustin Opilano got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 37 minutes of play, Guará FC's Tiago Gabriel Vieira made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Cordara was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute Remo Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guará FC's Ivo Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A.Esparta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Ivo Figueiredo scored to the left of an out of position Silverio Cordara, making the score, 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Ramiro Aimar hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Ramiro Aimar lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Guará FC a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tiago Gabriel Vieira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.A.Esparta's Silverio Cordara. 7-0. 72 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Marquez came free, but Silverio Cordara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Figueiredo in the 74th minute of play forced C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Silverio Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Haroldo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Cordara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Remo Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 89 minutes C.A.Esparta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tiago Gabriel Vieira who took care of the corner kick. In the 94th minute, Tiago Gabriel Vieira made a precise shot to the right of Silverio Cordara. C.A.Esparta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Guará FC fully deserved thier win.
