Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Vítor Duarte took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Acácio Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Matias Roganović was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 8 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's Tomás Iliana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinho Figueiredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Severino Garikoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Claudinho Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Scarlet Speedster booed when Juniors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Chan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Rozarius kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Matias Roganović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Di Maria in the 21st minute of play. Severino Garikoitz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes of play, Scarlet Speedster's Acácio Hoffmann made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Roganović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudinho Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Duarte in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Juniors FC's Severino Garikoitz got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Scarlet Speedster's zone, José Vítor Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Figueiredo came out of the goal and José Vítor Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Amaral in the 38th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Matias Roganović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Iliana to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Claudinho Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Vítor Duarte. In the 47th minute, Zézinho Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredinho Amaral to make the kick off. Matias Roganović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Di Maria, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's José Vítor Duarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinho Figueiredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Alfredinho Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomás Iliana charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Iliana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christopher Reeve lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 80th minute, one of Scarlet Speedster:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Scarlet Speedster. Clemente Rozarius shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Severino Garikoitz struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Claudinho Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juniors FC. Scarlet Speedster's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
