Carlos José Vega started the match with the kick off. Sandro Placente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Sérgio Barreto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandro Placente showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dante Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Ramos scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sandro Placente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, union española s.a.'s goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Erramu came free, but Sandro Placente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaume Zegarra during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, union española s.a. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaume Zegarra to maneuver through the defense. union española s.a.'s Sandro Placente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Osorio in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Osorio in the 30th minute of play forced union española s.a.'s goalkeeper Sandro Placente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Osorio took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Placente. Sandro Placente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Primitivo Erramu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Placente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandro Placente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Erramu in the 39th minute of play. Manuel Neira charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Neira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Manuel Neira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Osorio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Sandro Placente successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 53 minutes of play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's David Osorio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Placente was left in no man's land by his defense there! Primitivo Erramu's late challenge caught a union española s.a.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Erramu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of union española s.a. booed when DeportivoIndependienteMDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Erramu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Placente made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when David Osorio sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Osorio got free with Sandro Placente in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Emiliano Juvenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos José Vega in the 67th minute of play. Emiliano Juvenal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaume Zegarra went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. David Osorio came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sandro Placente could save by the left post. With a little luck, union española s.a.'s Sandro Placente got control of the ball when David Osorio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute Primitivo Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Placente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Primitivo Erramu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sandro Placente. That made the score 1-4 after 79 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, union española s.a.'s Carlos José Vega got a free kick in the 81st minute. A collision led to union española s.a. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Carlos José Vega hit a great ball. Dante Ramos struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Sandro Placente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DeportivoIndependienteMDP. David Osorio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Sandro Placente made a huge save.
