Gustave Pierrel came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nastasio Depsch could save by the left post. A collision led to CF Eleven Lions 2007 getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Manuel Granados hit a great ball. Thierry Henri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nastasio Depsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Yves Paturel in the 20th minute of the match. If Moïse Ganivet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nastasio Depsch was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Thierry Henri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thierry Henri really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Nastasio Depsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Yves Paturel in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, CF Eleven Lions 2007's Nastasio Depsch got control of the ball when Thierry Henri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Gustave Pierrel made a precise shot to the right of Nastasio Depsch. CF Eleven Lions 2007's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Nastasio Depsch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thierry Henri in the 40th minute. Kevan Grange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Mendieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. CF Eleven Lions 2007's Nastasio Depsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Henri in the 47th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, CF Eleven Lions 2007 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Bozo to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Mendieta was the one to do the kick off. Nastasio Depsch came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Les diables noirs's Thierry Henri. But to his dismay, Thierry Henri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Les diables noirs's goalkeeper Kevan Grange, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jean-Yves Paturel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Thierry Henri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nastasio Depsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Les diables noirs booed when CF Eleven Lions 2007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Cannavaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Yves Paturel in the 63rd minute of play forced CF Eleven Lions 2007's goalkeeper Nastasio Depsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CF Eleven Lions 2007's Nastasio Depsch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Henri in the 65th minute of play. Nastasio Depsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thierry Henri in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CF Eleven Lions 2007's Victoro Maira got a free kick in the 76th minute. Thierry Henri struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Nastasio Depsch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Les diables noirs. In the 81st minute, Thierry Henri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nastasio Depsch was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 85 minutes into the match, CF Eleven Lions 2007's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Henri came free, but Nastasio Depsch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Franco Cannavaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Les diables noirs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
