The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Rasnita's Sebastian Condrea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustin Avellaneda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 6 minutes, Iustinian Pistol made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sportivo Chupeño's Agustin Avellaneda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 17 minutes, Nichifor Buzincu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rasnita and the Sportivo Chupeño players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Rasnita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nechifor Curuțiu should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Rasnita getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Paul Ene hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Ciprian Ştefănucă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sportivo Chupeño's Agustin Avellaneda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Chupeño from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ascencio Abechuco in the 29th minute of play forced Rasnita's goalkeeper Nechifor Curuțiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 30 in the game by Iustinian Pistol from a close distance when the talented Agustin Avellaneda managed to make a qualified save. Sportivo Chupeño's players were relieved. Sportivo Chupeño's Agustin Avellaneda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iustinian Pistol in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Avellaneda saved Sportivo Chupeño from getting behind. Sebastian Condrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iustinian Pistol to strike the kick off in the second half. Iustinian Pistol hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Agustin Avellaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Doicaru in the 53rd minute of play. Senin Abellaneda's late challenge caught a Rasnita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Senin Abellaneda helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rasnita booed when Sportivo Chupeño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Senin Abellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Pistol in the 63rd minute of play forced Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Agustin Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustin Avellaneda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustinian Pistol's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Rasnita's Iustinian Pistol got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ascencio Abechuco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nechifor Curuțiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Ascencio Abechuco slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 75th minute. Remus Maleș hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Rasnita's Iosif Doicaru got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Ciprian Ştefănucă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Iosif Doicaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
