Spectators: 7838 (Terracing: 5880, Seating: 1802, VIP seats: 156) Franja Dorada's Urbano Sagrario started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Venancio Hodei made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Edwin McNamara sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodney Huston in the 10th minute of play forced Franja Dorada's goalkeeper Venancio Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Franja Dorada from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Palban in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henning Berglund saved Wyoming Cowboys from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Urbano Sagrario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franja Dorada's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbano Sagrario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henning Berglund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute Urbano Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Berglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Sagrario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Wyoming Cowboys's Venancio Hodei threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lanny Lilly, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Wyoming Cowboys getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Rodney Huston hit a great ball. Henning Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Sagrario, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Edwin McNamara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Hodei having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edwin McNamara made a kick off. Venancio Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Huston in the 51st minute of the match. Leonardo Paio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Mats McNamara came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Wyoming Cowboys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats McNamara couldn't finish the play. Florentino Rito hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Wyoming Cowboys's Verner Myr was substituted for Lanny Lilly. After 62 played minutes Franja Dorada got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Rito. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Sagrario got free with Henning Berglund in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edwin McNamara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Venancio Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Franja Dorada getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Leonardo Paio hit a great ball. In the 86th match minute, Wyoming Cowboys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodney Huston to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 87 in the game by Urbano Sagrario from a close distance when the talented Henning Berglund managed to make a qualified save. Wyoming Cowboys's players were relieved. Venancio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Huston in the 89th minute of play. Mats McNamara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Venancio Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venancio Hodei came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wyoming Cowboys's Verner Myr. But to his dismay, Verner Myr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Wyoming Cowboys walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
