The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Sagrario in the 4th minute of play forced Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Niklas Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Franja Dorada's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Byström came free, but Venancio Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Urbano Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Carl Kling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th match minute, Gnaget United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Urbano Sagrario shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niklas Larsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Franja Dorada's Patricio Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niklas Larsson came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Franja Dorada's Leonardo Paio. But to his dismay, Leonardo Paio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Patricio Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frans Blomqvist hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Patricio Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute of the match Franja Dorada got a corner. Gnaget United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Urbano Sagrario ran over to the corner to take the kick. Franja Dorada's Urbano Sagrario was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Niklas Larsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Urbano Sagrario put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Niklas Larsson. In the 44th minute, Leonardo Paio made a precise shot to the right of Niklas Larsson. Gnaget United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urbano Sagrario made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Franja Dorada got a corner. Gnaget United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Urbano Sagrario ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Franja Dorada's corner Urbano Sagrario fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Niklas Larsson quite easily take care of the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Urbano Sagrario led 52 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Gnaget United FC's Niklas Larsson became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-5. Venancio Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Scholes in the 58th minute of play. Urbano Sagrario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Niklas Larsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urbano Sagrario. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gnaget United FC! In the 71st minute Patricio Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Isidro Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franja Dorada's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Cordeal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niklas Larsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urbano Sagrario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Abajas's late challenge caught a Gnaget United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Abajas helped the player get up and apologised. Patricio Abajas hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Leonardo Paio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niklas Larsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Gnaget United FC's zone, Patricio Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niklas Larsson came out of the goal and Patricio Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Palban got free with Niklas Larsson in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfonso Palban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Niklas Larsson made a huge save. Venancio Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Kling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Florentino Rito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Franja Dorada fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Franja Dorada's Alfonso Palban looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Venancio Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Byström in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Alfonso Palban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
