Rodney Huston struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Ivan Rolandsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wyoming Cowboys. Ivan Rolandsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodney Huston in the 19th minute. Ulf McNamara hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. FC Blueskatterna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Greger Rudkvist in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Mats McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Rolandsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mats McNamara scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Rolandsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's goal looked a bit too open when Mats McNamara came free, but Ivan Rolandsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mats McNamara fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wyoming Cowboys's protests and gave Mats McNamara a yellow card for diving instead. Mats McNamara hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes FC Blueskatterna got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Esbjörnsson. A collision led to FC Blueskatterna getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jonathan Bohlin hit a great ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Peter Björkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Blueskatterna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Björkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edwin McNamara was the one to do the kick off. FC Blueskatterna's Ivan Rolandsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lanny Lilly in the 51st minute of play. Ivan Rolandsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lanny Lilly in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Björkman in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henning Berglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin McNamara in the 57th minute of play forced FC Blueskatterna's goalkeeper Ivan Rolandsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes FC Blueskatterna got a freekick which was hit by Alvin Esbjörnsson. After 59 played minutes, Wyoming Cowboys's Edwin McNamara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivan Rolandsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wyoming Cowboys reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodney Huston in the 65th minute of play forced FC Blueskatterna's goalkeeper Ivan Rolandsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Greger Rudkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Rolandsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Huston in the 72nd minute of play. Ivan Rolandsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Huston in the 75th minute of the match. Battle Bundy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edwin McNamara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ivan Rolandsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Lanny Lilly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Blueskatterna's Ivan Rolandsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Rolandsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Huston in the 92nd minute of play. Wyoming Cowboys's Henning Berglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Ånger in the 94th minute of play. Ivan Rolandsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lanny Lilly in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wyoming Cowboys fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Blueskatterna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
