An unexpectedly hard shot by Cresenciano Huarte in the 8th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Billie Serneels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidoro Mangas kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, VILLARREAL UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turi Montaña to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Janssen to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, FC Draconia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cresenciano Huarte fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cresenciano Huarte got free with Billie Serneels in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Cresenciano Huarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VILLARREAL UNITED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jim Janssen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Cresenciano Huarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billie Serneels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to VILLARREAL UNITED getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Frances Zapater hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VILLARREAL UNITED fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Draconia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
