The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon-Ander Wallffiguer got free with Pablo Lohitzun in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pablo Lohitzun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Concetto Mare's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Beto Márcico was substituted for Esteve Nerio. Simón Iturbe was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Concetto Mare's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Lohitzun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Concetto Mare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Mare in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Asesinos Por Naturaleza getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ferdinand Redondo hit a great ball. Zorros del Desierto's Sverker Zander got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Zorros del Desierto's zone, Jeff Damen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Araya came out of the goal and Jeff Damen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Márcico in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Araya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zorros del Desierto had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
