With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Guzman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Pierre-Antoine Landemaine almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Felipe Guzman did a great save. Valette Stars's Rafail Rusev got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Felipe Guzman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafail Rusev. Saul Eriz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Valette Stars were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Atletico Calamar Saavedra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pierre-Antoine Landemaine took the corner. The corner ended in Mourad Floury almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Felipe Guzman did a great save. With an all-out effort, Valette Stars's Felipe Guzman threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saul Eriz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Felipe Guzman came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Valette Stars's Saul Eriz. But to his dismay, Saul Eriz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Valette Stars booed when Atletico Calamar Saavedra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Maria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Hanot in the 40th minute of play. Felipe Guzman made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Rafail Rusev sent off a good shot on target. Remigio Maria hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes, Valette Stars's Pierre-Antoine Landemaine shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felipe Guzman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valette Stars reached it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Adrien Tanneau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Llorenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Robin Frémaux hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute of the match Jesus Gaspard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrien Tanneau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Victorino Chumo in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Valette Stars's Nelson Nogueira. In the 62nd minute, Rafail Rusev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Chumo during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Atletico Calamar Saavedra getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Victorino Chumo hit a great ball. Rafail Rusev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's Pierre-Antoine Landemaine broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Valette Stars from getting a goal against them. Felipe Guzman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafail Rusev in the 72nd minute of play. Valette Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pierre-Antoine Landemaine in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Valette Stars's Mourad Floury got a free kick in the 75th minute. The Valette Stars fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Valette Stars's Rafail Rusev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd minute Saul Eriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Guzman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valette Stars's Nelson Nogueira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Remigio Maria, made in the 90th minute of the game. Felipe Guzman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Eriz in the 91st minute of the match. Valette Stars were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atletico Calamar Saavedra for a fine match.
