Dobromir Latocha charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Celio Campa lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 67th minute, one of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Peñarol FIFV. Pacorro Zugasti had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Pedro Paulo Arce's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 79th match minute, Fabiofs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elano de Salles to maneuver through the defense. Pacorro Zugasti was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Milton Friedman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Milton Friedman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Pacorro Zugasti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milton Friedman in the 95th minute of play. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Ramón Fantini scored to the left of an out of position Pacorro Zugasti, making the score, 0-2. Fabiofs's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
