Kryspin Michna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Sălcudeanu in the 9th minute of play. If Leonid Petrov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute Tudor Sălcudeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Michna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match, Wladyslaw Wojtowicz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Josue Ayala was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kryspin Michna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Sălcudeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kryspin Michna came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Tudor Sălcudeanu. But to his dismay, Tudor Sălcudeanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kryspin Michna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afanasiy Mamichev, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 30 played minutes Феникс Санкт-Петербург got a freekick which was hit by Leonid Petrov. Josue Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wladyslaw Wojtowicz in the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Petr Garkavyi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kryspin Michna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Josue Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Tyski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Wladyslaw Wojtowicz could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Josue Ayala however easily saved by the left post. In the 44th minute, Tudor Sălcudeanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kryspin Michna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 74thth minute of the game Pawel Michna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Феникс Санкт-Петербург's Josue Ayala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Kilar came free, but Josue Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
