The Espirillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 24th minute Espirillo FC were awarded a corner. Svetlozar Vúlov went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Espirillo FC's Svetlozar Vúlov to fire away a dangerous shot which Laurențiu Popescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Seelmann hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Svetlozar Vúlov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Laurențiu Popescu made a huge save. Laurențiu Popescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Natanael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Laurențiu Popescu throw himself and got hold of the ball when David Corderun in the 34thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Suşu in the 42nd minute of play forced Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Nestor Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gheorghe Craioveanu to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Alexandria Team08's zone, Svetlozar Vúlov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurențiu Popescu came out of the goal and Svetlozar Vúlov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rait Raag in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurențiu Popescu saved Alexandria Team08 from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goal looked a bit too open when Svetlozar Vúlov came free, but Laurențiu Popescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espirillo FC's Florencio Dacio got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svetlozar Vúlov in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurențiu Popescu saved Alexandria Team08 from getting behind. Alexandria Team08's Gheorghe Craioveanu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 72nd minute Daniel Natanael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Popescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Craioveanu came free, but Nestor Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Kelemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Craioveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Suşu came free, but Nestor Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Suşu in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Alexandria Team08 booed when Espirillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Ciro Taurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Florencio Dacio put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Laurențiu Popescu. After 94 minutes of play, Espirillo FC's Florencio Dacio made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurențiu Popescu was left in no man's land by his defense there!
