Gelu Lepuș made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Tomás Urtun sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 8 minutes, Válbson Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cadu Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Urtun in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Cadu Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Raul Santxol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Válbson Paiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Santxol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Válbson Paiva ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute Válbson Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Santxol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Alcântara's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Gelu Lepuș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Gombal in the 20th minute. A collision led to Cadu Team getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Zézinho Paranaense hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Andre Barugh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadu Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Andre Barugh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Santxol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Válbson Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AZURDUY F.C. booed when Cadu Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Tomás Urtun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Urtun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andre Barugh kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Arnaldo Ostots hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in AZURDUY F.C.'s zone, Ciro Sanches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Santxol came out of the goal and Ciro Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Alcântara made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Válbson Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadu Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Santxol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 54 minutes, Hugo Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Jose Gamus came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the AZURDUY F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Gamus couldn't finish the play. Válbson Paiva's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raul Santxol firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Urtun in the 74th minute of play. Gelu Lepuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When AZURDUY F.C.'s Jose Gamus in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of AZURDUY F.C. booed when Cadu Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazinho Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Urtun in the 81st minute of play forced Cadu Team's goalkeeper Gelu Lepuș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Urtun to maneuver through the defense. Renato Barral hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Gelu Lepuș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Gombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Cadu Team's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Urtun came free, but Gelu Lepuș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Gombal in the 90th minute of play. Válbson Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Santxol having to interfere. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Pastor Bento hit a great ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Ciro Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cadu Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Sanches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cadu Team succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though AZURDUY F.C. had controlled the match.
