After some careless play in the FC Galicia Lviv defense, Pan Yan Rong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Boldrini. The FC Galicia Lviv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Boldrini should have stopped the shot. George Simonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gustavo Boldrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Pan Yan Rong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pan Yan Rong in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Galicia Lviv's goalkeeper Gustavo Boldrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
