Staffan Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tymoteusz Harendarski in the 2nd minute of play. 2 minutes into the game, 2kC Poznań's Tymoteusz Harendarski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Staffan Lind made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tymoteusz Harendarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Linköpings AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Lucjan Sokol scored to the left of an out of position Staffan Lind, making the score, 2-0. In the 10th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Cassel to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Lucjan Sokol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Staffan Lind. Linköpings AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Sokol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 18th minute, Zula Kinic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugeniusz Wachna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Karlsson in the 19th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Arvid Carlsson put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eugeniusz Wachna. Czeslaw Dembowski took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Staffan Lind. Staffan Lind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Johannes Torstensson's late challenge caught a 2kC Poznań's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johannes Torstensson helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Torstensson. After some careless play in the Linköpings AIK defense, Lucjan Sokol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Staffan Lind. The Linköpings AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Staffan Lind should have stopped the shot. Staffan Lind stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucjan Sokol's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tymoteusz Harendarski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Sokol in the 51st minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Staffan Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvid Carlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arvid Carlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. If Lucjan Sokol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Tymoteusz Harendarski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Staffan Lind was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Staffan Lind didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tymoteusz Harendarski went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Radoslaw Banach struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Staffan Lind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 2kC Poznań. After 70 played minutes 2kC Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Radoslaw Banach. 71 minutes into the match, 2kC Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Torstensson came free, but Eugeniusz Wachna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugeniusz Wachna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Linköpings AIK's zone, Radoslaw Banach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Staffan Lind came out of the goal and Radoslaw Banach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Cassel hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of 2kC Poznań booed when Linköpings AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Cassel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radoslaw Banach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radoslaw Banach scored 8-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Staffan Lind, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 2kC Poznań had won after a very even match.
