Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Graciano Flores to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Campus Douro Academy's André Castilho got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 67th minute of the match, Benedito Figueiras got a very nice opportunity to score, but Uffe Ruff was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bobbo Bobbenkamp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Coelho having to make a save.
