Campus Douro Academy's Carlos Coelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Campus Douro Academy from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Levent Gervazov came free, but Carlos Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Levent Gervazov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Coelho having to interfere. In the 22ndth minute of the game Graciano Flores who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cup2's Raycho Kaleev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Argir Tishinov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cup2's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campus Douro Academy the free kick. Argir Tishinov hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Raycho Kaleev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Figueiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Cup2's Raycho Kaleev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Figueiras in the 28th minute of play. Levent Gervazov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Carlos Coelho made a huge save. André Castilho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Raycho Kaleev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Cup2's Argir Tishinov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Graciano Flores to make the kick off. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Cup2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argir Tishinov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adélio Correia hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Carlos Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeri Hadzhisotirov, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Cup2's goal looked a bit too open when Graciano Flores came free, but Raycho Kaleev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Campus Douro Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Graciano Flores in the 65th minute. After taking down the ball on Campus Douro Academy's corner Graciano Flores fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raycho Kaleev quite easily take care of the ball. Benedito Figueiras took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raycho Kaleev. Raycho Kaleev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tinko Betzinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Coelho having to interfere. Carlos Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levent Gervazov in the 77th minute of the match. Carlos Coelho came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Cup2's Levent Gervazov. But to his dismay, Levent Gervazov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Campus Douro Academy's Daniel Furtado was substituted for Graciano Flores. Levent Gervazov charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Levent Gervazov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Levent Gervazov hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Raycho Kaleev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Furtado's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Valeri Hadzhisotirov came free, but Carlos Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Campus Douro Academy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cup2.
