Affan Tutkun charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Affan Tutkun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Affan Tutkun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Messi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuan Ying having to interfere. The supporters of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga booed when HORIZZONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sefa Şimşek didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Cássio Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cássio Ramos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alpertunga Visali. Yuan Ying made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Chang in the 80th minute of play. Yuan Ying showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber de Alcântara in the 82nd minute of the match. Rahim Sidam who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Cássio Ramos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Messi in the 87th minute of play forced HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Yuan Ying to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şaban Kayıhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cássio Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
