An unexpectedly hard shot by Hu Jian Liang in the 8th minute of play forced BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper Olivier Dubs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Ugaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Garro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Martin Jerold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomero Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Sergi in the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Martin Jerold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Còrdoba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Jerold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute Hu Jian Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivier Dubs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Real Còrdoba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Garro came free, but Baldomero Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Fritz Berghmans got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hu Jian Liang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olivier Dubs having to make a save. 31 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Garro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BEST FABIO F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Còrdoba FC the free kick. After 31 played minutes BEST FABIO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Garro. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Benjamin Erruki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Còrdoba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Erruki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olivier Dubs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomero Ugaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Garro in the 41st minute of play. Real Còrdoba FC's Moise Tomulescu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fritz Berghmans in the 43 minute of the game. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Olivier Dubs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Jerold in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Fritz Berghmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fritz Berghmans was the one to do the kick off. Real Còrdoba FC's Baldomero Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Garro in the 54th minute of play. Olivier Dubs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikel Arteta, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Raimundo Ladio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Juninho de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hu Jian Liang came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olivier Dubs could save by the left post. Martin Jerold kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Toninho Cosme was substituted for Rodrigo Garro. In the 67th minute, Martin Jerold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Fritz Berghmans notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Real Còrdoba FC's Baldomero Ugaitz. Baldomero Ugaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 74 minutes into the match, BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper Olivier Dubs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hu Jian Liang. If Martin Jerold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Jerold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes, Hu Jian Liang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Còrdoba FC and the BEST FABIO F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hu Jian Liang kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Real Còrdoba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Dayam to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Ugaitz came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by BEST FABIO F.C.'s Juninho de Sena. But to his dismay, Juninho de Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Baldomero Ugaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Liang Wei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Raimundo Ladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomero Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Berghmans in the 91st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Rolado during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Real Còrdoba FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
