Spectators: 7677 (Terracing: 5758, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Vikingos FC's Segundo Balendin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Mundial EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Senna to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute Tomás Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes, Pedro Jakes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vikingos FC and the Mundial EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vikingos FC's Pedro Jakes got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Argoitz in the 17th minute of play forced Mundial EC's goalkeeper Germano Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Mundial EC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Vikingos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Egídio França took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Egídio França got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oscar Gines quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 26th minute Sixto Mero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes of play Vikingos FC's Pedro Jakes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 35th minute, Reinaldo de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Argoitz in the 39th minute of play. Oscar Gines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Mundial EC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Mundial EC's Reinaldo de Alcântara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

52 minutes into the game, Tomás Senna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oscar Gines. Tomás Senna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. A collision led to Mundial EC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Egídio França hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, Mundial EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio França to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Oscar Gines had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinaldo de Alcântara. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 66th minute, but Oscar Gines got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Vikingos FC hanging dry this time. After a rather tough play, Mundial EC's Reinaldo de Alcântara got a free kick in the 69th minute. Bernardo Bela kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Vikingos FC's Oscar Gines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Vikingos FC from getting a goal against them. Mundial EC's Júnior Santos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Segundo Balendin, made in the 88th minute of the game. Mundial EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
