The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Firmin got free with Germano Moraes in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Mundial EC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Manfredo Aguiar hit a great ball. After 10 minutes Enzo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Egídio França who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Mundial EC's Júnior Santos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Senna in the 12th minute of play forced Enzo FC's goalkeeper Benito Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, Mundial EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Santos to maneuver through the defense. Germano Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Gabino in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes Mundial EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manuel Lanzini who took care of the corner kick. Manuel Lanzini made a great header on Enzo FC's corner, it was just that Mundial EC's Germano Moraes managed to reach the ball for a save. Erik de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinaldo de Alcântara to make the kick off. Andrea Pirlo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Mundial EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, Basilio Eutor notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mundial EC's Germano Moraes. Germano Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
