Pascual Acosta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejandro Chano went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 7 minutes into the game, Roque Henrico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estudiantes de América's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Platense es de Primera!! the free kick. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de América's Roque Henrico got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jimeno Nel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Acosta having to interfere. Pascual Acosta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pes's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 12th match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Ospetsu to maneuver through the defense. Isidro Emenon hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match Gonzalo Bartoli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascual Acosta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Roque Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sixto Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Henrico in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Chano in the 37th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Pascual Acosta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascual Acosta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Acosta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Nel, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Pascual Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Nel in the 44th minute of the match. Jimeno Nel got in the 44th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Pascual Acosta handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Pascual Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pes in the 46th minute of play. The Estudiantes de América players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Platense es de Primera!! were winning 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roque Henrico to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaime Pes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pascual Acosta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Nel came free, but Pascual Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's Elvio Paublo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 63rd minute Roque Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Mattin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Platense es de Primera!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Roque Henrico came free, but Sixto Mattin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Fanuco hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Sixto Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Henrico in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Roque Henrico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Estudiantes de América's Pascual Acosta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes de América from getting a goal against them. Sixto Mattin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Ospetsu in the 74th minute of play. Platense es de Primera!!'s Sixto Mattin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Ospetsu in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Pascual Acosta got control of the ball when Alejandro Chano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute Ildefonso Balesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Mattin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Ado to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 93 minutes, Jaime Pes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Platense es de Primera!!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Platense es de Primera!! were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Estudiantes de América to leave the ground with a draw.
