After 9 played minutes Deportivo Empate got a freekick which was hit by Mikel Abastas. Deportivo Empate's Jerold Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Björkman in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Firma Barnängen's Edgar Björkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerold Abel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Wictor Arenberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jerold Abel. The goal made the score 2-0. 18 minutes into the game, Mikel Abastas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Empate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Firma Barnängen the free kick. Mikel Abastas kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Humberto Alcaraz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerold Abel. Humberto Alcaraz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Empate's zone, Edgar Björkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerold Abel came out of the goal and Edgar Björkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Deportivo Empate getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Xavierlada Abancens hit a great ball. Rune Söder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikel Abastas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Deportivo Empate's goal looked a bit too open when Wictor Arenberg came free, but Jerold Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gustavo-Hernán Torrico fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Empate's protests and gave Gustavo-Hernán Torrico a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, Deportivo Empate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo-Hernán Torrico to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Firma Barnängen's Edgar Björkman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerold Abel. That made the score 4-0 after 31 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Alcaraz got free with Jerold Abel in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Björkman in the 38th minute of play forced Deportivo Empate's goalkeeper Jerold Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerold Abel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Björkman went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute, Octavio Aballe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rune Söder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Torrico in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Mikel Abastas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rune Söder. The goal made the score 5-1. 57 minutes into the match, Deportivo Empate's goal looked a bit too open when Wictor Arenberg came free, but Jerold Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Firma Barnängen got a freekick which was hit by Claes Carlsson. 60 minutes into the game, Firma Barnängen's Humberto Alcaraz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerold Abel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. After 71 minutes, Liher Aballe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Empate and the Firma Barnängen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Liher Aballe hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jerold Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Pepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Wictor Arenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerold Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikel Abastas got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jerold Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Arenberg in the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Firma Barnängen booed when Deportivo Empate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerold Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wictor Arenberg in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Humberto Alcaraz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Jerold Abel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustavo-Hernán Torrico hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Edgar Björkman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerold Abel. Deportivo Empate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Björkman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. When the referee ended the match the Firma Barnängen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
