The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Last Airbender's Muhittin Suyurgal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandrino Caldas in the 3rd minute of play. Alexandrino Caldas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhittin Suyurgal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Last Airbender's İlmi Arpacıoğlu got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Last Airbender's goalkeeper Muhittin Suyurgal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Varela in the 21st minute of play forced The Last Airbender's goalkeeper Muhittin Suyurgal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Varela in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Muhittin Suyurgal saved The Last Airbender from getting behind. After a rather tough play, KINDERUZ's Edgar Igrejas got a free kick in the 26th minute. Muhittin Suyurgal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Varela in the 28th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Gonçalo Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. KINDERUZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muhittin Suyurgal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Muhittin Suyurgal came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by KINDERUZ's Jordão Barbosa. But to his dismay, Jordão Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gonçalo Varela took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muhittin Suyurgal. Muhittin Suyurgal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When The Last Airbender's Mikail Savgat in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KINDERUZ's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to KINDERUZ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rafael Balsemão hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The supporters of KINDERUZ booed when The Last Airbender was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egemen Korkmaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Mikail Savgat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Carlos Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KINDERUZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Last Airbender's Muhittin Suyurgal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save The Last Airbender from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, The Last Airbender's goalkeeper Muhittin Suyurgal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Pacheco. 68 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's goal looked a bit too open when Mikail Savgat came free, but Manuel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the The Last Airbender defense, Jordão Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Muhittin Suyurgal. The The Last Airbender fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Muhittin Suyurgal should have stopped the shot. Manuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikail Savgat in the 79th minute of the match. When Carlos Pacheco fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KINDERUZ's protests and gave Carlos Pacheco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, KINDERUZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikail Savgat in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Neuer saved KINDERUZ from getting behind. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Güntekin Uskan sped through KINDERUZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Neuer. Carlos Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Muhittin Suyurgal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KINDERUZ. When KINDERUZ's Gonçalo Varela, in the 95th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for KINDERUZ.
