Tomás Calixto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 9 minutes, Clodoveo Neto made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Road To Glory's Tomás Calixto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes in the game Leonardo Gaspard did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Flavio Suarez. Tomás Calixto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Curcio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pegaso's zone, Flavio Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Chuan came out of the goal and Flavio Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hipolito Foro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Pegaso's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tobias Mambru fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 24 minutes into the game, Anselmo Iraido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pegaso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Road To Glory the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Iraido to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Javier Atauri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidro Chuan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Tobias Mambru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Road To Glory fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Isidro Chuan made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Haroldo Tonio sent off a good shot on target. Hipolito Foros short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Isidro Chuan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 39th minute, Anselmo Iraido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Road To Glory players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pegaso were winning 1-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Tonio made a kick off. Haroldo Tonio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Isidro Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Mambru hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Road To Glory's Tomás Calixto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Neto in the 58th minute of play. Haroldo Tonio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Chuan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Neto in the 62nd minute of play forced Road To Glory's goalkeeper Tomás Calixto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Road To Glory's goalkeeper Tomás Calixto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pegaso's Clodoveo Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clodoveo Neto in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Calixto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidro Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Tonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Neto notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Road To Glory's Tomás Calixto. Tomás Calixto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 85 played minutes Pegaso got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Curcio. In the 86th minute of the match Javier Atauri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isidro Chuan skillfully saved the ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Road To Glory's goalkeeper Tomás Calixto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urbano Curcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Haroldo Tonio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Road To Glory's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Tonio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pegaso were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Road To Glory's much stronger midfield.
